Tractor
several
I went to get this 2000 but I dont think its actually a 2000. I'm trying to identify it.
The hood and dash resemble a jubilee or naa.
It's a 4 cylinder diesel.
The dash has holes for the tach and 2 smaller gauges.
It has power assisted steering.
The injector pump is nothing like the 2000s I see online. It actually looks like its in a distributor hole.
I've attached pics.
Anyone have any idea what this is?

Thanks :)

A serial number would definitely help: TractorData.com Ford 2 tractor information

There are two series of the Ford 2000... and, of course, the serial number location is different for each. Tractordata has a 'drop-down' for the series years and the location is described.

Good luck. :)

The tractor is a 1963 or 1964, which still used a four cylinder engine and used sheetmetal similar in appearance to the sheetmetal used on the 1953 Jubilee. The 2000 from 63 and 64 had blue chassis and hood sheetmetal. The 4000 from 63 and 64 had blue chassis and gray hood sheetmetal. The hood sheetmetal is mounted higher on the chassis on the 4000 model. The sheetmetal appears to be mounted like a 4000 in your pictures. The diesels from 63 and 64 were 12 volt when new. The serial number and model number were stamped into a flat spot above and behind the starter, but the diesels were notorius for the serial numbers being obscured by leakage from the battery through the years. In 1965, Ford tractors went to 3 cylinder engines and the more square hood sheetmetal.

So it is a 2000. An older one.
I like the older ones.
Hopefully I can get it going.
Thanks for the help

Not so fast, its possible that it is a 4000. The serial number on its own will only tell the year of the tractor. The model number will tell exactly what it is by the breakdown of the numbers. If the serial number and model number have been messed up from battery acid leakage, the casting numbers on the right side of the engine block can help with determining if it has the 144 cubic inch 4 cyl diesel used in the 2000 or the 172 cubic inch 4 cyl diesel used in the 4000. Attached is some info to help you figure out exactly what you have.20190615_072216.jpgScreenshot_20190615-072029.jpgScreenshot_20190615-072038.jpg

I'll check for the numbers.
Hopefully they're still readable.
The numbers on the engine block are very readable. I'll have to go write them all down.

144cu in w/ stanadyne/ roosamaster injection pump. Was working on mine today. Be sure to put some treated fuel in the tank. Those old injector pumps hate this no/low sulfur diesel and they get sticky and bind up. Go for lubricity!
