Robert, your grapes and fruit trees must grow quite different then those out here in California. I live in the foothills east of Sacramento where there are still many small orchards. At one time our area was the fruit basket of the world, but growing fruit in the flat valley was much more economical. I'm not to far from the Napa valley and have yet to see a row of vines that you could get the tractors you picture under. The orchards would not accomodate the tractor you picture. I'm curious about the growth of various fruit trees and grape vines in the NY area. Many sprayers/foggers have integral motors to run the pump and blower requiring no PTO. We don't see tractors with cabs, roll bars and exhaust stacks out here working the orchards. Once the trees get loaded with fruit, its tough to get a saddle tractor under those branches. I figure you must have been showing an example of a NH tractor rather then a particular model to use for the poster of the question. Right now our orchards are producing nectarines. Cherries are about done, and the peaches & apricots will be in shortly. Rat...
