I can not figure which ports to use on the remotes to get the mower side wing to come up and down without one going up while the other goes down or both up at the same time and then can not get the height to go up or down without the wings coming up. It is mind blowing. Of the 4 ports I do not know where to put the correct hoses. One hose for left side, one hose for right side and one hose for height. I have trial and guessed it till I am batty, excuse the pun please. As I look at the four ports standing behind the tractor, I numbered them, Top left #1, Top right #2, bottom left #3 and bottom right #4. The left wing of the mower as you stand behind it is #1 and the height is #2 and the right wing is #3 cylinder. Can anyone tell me where the mower hoses go to work correctly.

You have 4 remote couplers, you can only 2 things with them. In other words you have two sets. If you have only one hose going to the wings then you have to T the lines and use 1/2 remote sets, then both wings well go up and down. One well move faster or it well have to get all the way up then the other one well go up after the 1st one is maxed out. The same goes with the lift if you only have one hose going to it. Then you well be using 1/2 of the other set. Each has a pressure outlet and at the same time the other 1/2 is open to tank. When you move the lever the other way it changes the pressure port to a return and the other to pressure.

Thanks for your reply. I have 4 remotes and 3 hoses. One hose to the left side, one hose to the right side and one hose to the center that controls height.

If you have 4 coupler on the tractor you have 2 remotes. It takes 8 couplers for 4 remote sets. 2 sets =2 levers 4 sets 4 levers.

I understand now maybe. So 4 couplers is 2 remotes, each remote has to 2 couplers or holes. So I use one hole on one remote set for the height cylinder and I have to T-couple the 2 wing hoses together and use one hole in the other set of remotes?

Do the dust covers have diagrams on them or numbers or color coded? You'll want the wings on the remote that has float and that's where you'll set it. Take both wing hoses and put them on the same number/color remote. You'll want the wings to lower when you push it forward. If it's backwards, swap the hoses. For the raise/lower, sometimes it's only one hose. Put it on the other one.

Daddy lost the dust covers years ago but I might be able to google the manual.

They are usually on top of each other. Top in bottom out is how my tractor works. So I'll take the wing hose that lowers the wings(extends the cylinder) and put it in the bottom opening then put the cyclinder retract in the top opening. For the lift, it goes on the bottom to the right side of the wing ones

Just did an image search for that tractor and it looks like they are side by side. Match them up and see what happens.

By the pictures I seen woods has the hose hooked to the rod end of the cyl.
