TSC EQUIPMENT PRICING ????

Many big stores also do this.... Walmart, CVS, Brooks, Walgreen's, Eckerts among a few that I have see this happen at. When I find a price discrepancy, I will tell the management and if they don't adjust the price, I will leave it at the register and walk out with nothing. After you do this to them a couple of times, they will change their attitude and make an adjustment to price after they check with the other store.

I do not agree with this as You can walk out all YOU want to
and You will never have the same check out person.

If You chat with the mangers some times it does work.

I have asked Wal-Mart about adjusting prices to match what another Wal-Mart has something for and they won't do it. To quote them: "They don't compete with other Wal-Marts, pricing is based on the local market/economy."

yeah I bet that means you might go empty handed quite a lot /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Buy hay, what ever works. I dont think I have ever seen a strong arm tactic like that be very successfull with some one you want to do something for you.

Basically, that means if they have no competitors nearby, then they raise their prices. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The Lowes stores that are next door to a Home Depot have cheaper prices than the ones that have no competition in the area. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

heheh ya; you can always get better pricing if you ask just right. tell them hey looking at a tiller, it is out of season, give me a price break, and usually you can get 10~20% depending on store & if you are talking to the actual manager or just a underling.

Clark tool boxes $ 298.96 for a pair or couold buy for
5 draw for 189.41
9 draw for 109.55
sold seperate at 389.98 some one sure did not look
at the print on this add

That is why the ad says "not responsible for typographical errors" in small print at the bottom of the page. That is the catch all phrase that saves their but every time they goof up.

Might want to look at that ad again. We got the same ad yesterday and the numbers work. I believe that they were comparing the 298.96 total to another product at $359.98? Then again, maybe not. . . . .
