I wouldn't recommend it, the little trap doors at the bottom are only about 2"x2". Even with an agitator, I could see them clogging up, especially with a load of dirt that was less than 100% dry. Even then, it would take far too long to "throw" a meaningful amount of topsoil - one hopper full at a time. And that's if your tractor can even LIFT a full hopper.
