TSC Hyd./ Transmission fluid

I was looking at the Traveler brand fluid at TSC and was wondering if anyone uses this in their KIOTI tractors?
I have an LB 1914 and Kioti is not listed in the tractor application on the 5 gallon containers.
My manual has Penzoil listed as one of the brands that is applicable to my tractor. After checking the application models on the Penzoil and the TSC brand they seemed to be the same.
Just wondering if the savings are worth it or not.

Just make sure that it meets or exseades the specifications.. as for me, I do not purchace any lubricants from any mass merchant.... They are not the same... Get the good stuff from a reputible oil consighnee or parts house. You would be amazed at what the mass merchants get by with as far as specifications, weights and measurments. you spent a lot of money for this machine, its worth another few bucks to get the real stuff...just my opinion

I use the TSC hydraulic fluid in my DK35, it meets the specs of the required rating as the manual states. I have not experienced any problems in the 320 hours I have put on the Kioti.

I also use it in my CK20H... it was impossible to find the products listed in the owners manual...so I asked Kioti directly...they replied:

"These fluids can be purchased from any auto parts store. You can also use any universal tractor transmission hydraulic fluid, such as the one that you listed below (ref: TSC). There is no SAE standard that you would need for the CK20 HST."

I use the stuff at Sam's Club. If memory serves me correctly, it is $18.99 for 5 gallons.

I had already bought the fluid at TSC but I wanted a little insight before I used it. I figured might as well ask the forum and the worse case scenario would be returning it and buying the Penzoil they had.
Mathey, I did a search yesterday and I saw you had asked the same question not long ago. I should have done a more thorough check before posting, but hey I'm one post closer to being a super poster now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

no biggie...As I recall, I asked that question in the "oil and lube" section of the forum, but didn't get many helpful answers at that time...never hurts to ask again!
