In my local store they also have the 5' and 6' tillers on sale.

same here: its still going on: i broke down an got the 4ft one Monday: $995
they had one of the orange KK 4ft tillers too: same price, lighter duty and not offset to one side: so i stayed with ole yellow..they seem to be built like a tank.

I understand the yellow 48" may be too much for your B7510. It is over 600#. I was looking at the same one and the manager advised against it for my B7610.

Which one did you end up getting then? What PN?

Shipping weight shows 580lbs. Maybe I should go with the smaller one then?

I have the yellow one on my B7500 and it is a very good match. Don't be mislead into buying the lighter one. you will probably regret it later.

There are many users here that say Kubota underestimates its 3ph capacities. Having heard all this and many other dealers cautioning against exceeding the limits I decided to be cautious and went with a Farm-Traxx geared 48". Yes, a risk since it is not widely distributed, but I am happy with it. I don't intend to test the limits much since all I want to do is expand my lawn by 3/4 of an acre and till a new garden twice a year. As a CUT newbie I didn't want to push it. Others likely are more knowledgeable than I.

Do you happen to know the PN of the yellow tiller? Is the weight a problem? The spec sheet shows 1058lbs 24" behind the lift point. I would imagine this is sufficient to lift the tiller.

I do not have a TSC number but the KK model is TG-48. The weight is an advantage to help tilling. The tractor lifts it easily.

I've got a "2173045" on hold, and I'm just curious if it's the orange or yellow tiller. The other number is "2122654" and those are out of stock.

I'm just trying to get some answers before I make the 2 hour drive.

The # 2122654 is the lighter weight tiller which is red. It has a chain drive. I found this on TSC website. It only has four tines per flange.

The yellow tiller is the heavy one with the gear drive. It has 6 tines per flange and they are much heavier. It appears to me you have the right one on hold.

You might call them to see how many tines it has per flange and is it yellow, not red.

How are you sure it's the yellow one without a picture?

I was told over the phone it was orange, but that contradicts everything I've seen thus far.

So now the question is, will my 7510 HST handle the "yellow" KK tiller?

My B7500 is the same tractor as yours except the previous model. Mine handles it well.

Also, to some people this tiller is orange. The lighter weight one is very red.

Ask them how many tines per flange and is it gear driven or chain driven to the tilling shaft.

Because I was down this road before. There are two 48 inchers in the catalog. One is the XB series for sub-cuts (chain drive) and the other is the gear driven (yellow)

I know the SC drag box is too small for my 2305 it is a cat1 with a cat0 width I think the tiller is also may want to chech it out.

No way. The 7610 will lift that thing like a feather.
