hey all: I'm adding me a spring seat form TSC, they had them for 69.00 last month so I picked one up and am installign it on my jinma 284.. it won't work well with my backhoe but it is only on a few weeks a year usually or less. anyhow it is pretty straight forward seems to fit nice and all. It has 2 holes in the right front location for the 284 but they are about 3/8' and the bolts in the old mounts are 16 MM head (about 7/16" bolts and use a 5/8" socket as I don't have any 16mm wrenches.) the back bolts are where no holes were so I drilled 2 new holes in the plate for mounting. while drilling I reamed out the 2 front holes to 1/2" for added clearance. the seat can be installed after the mount plate is bolted down but it also slides to reach the bolts if you want to un-bolt the plate while it is still attached to the seat bracket.
the orriginal JINMA seat is still in great shape - one dent from a over raised top link /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I'll keep it hand when I have to re-install the backhoe that or make up a bracket for mounting theseat differently when the hoe is on /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif anyhwo no pictures so far... maybe later.
