If you want to cut another 10 minutes off, put valve springs where the rubber bumpers are. It's like a little bit of heaven.

Well dang! The seat on my 1610D looks just like Eddies except my bumpers are not as thick! So i already got a "suspension seat"?????

I thought a suspension seat had a more sophisticated arrangement of shock absorption and moved up and down perpendicularly (is that a word?) rather than pivoting at the front.

Thanks for input all. I will ask the folks down at TSC to open the box so i can look at theirs.

Maybe i just need to change the rubber bushings on mine. Its kinda loose at the front pivot - maybe bottoming out on its axle. And maybe try that valve spring thing.

Thanks for all the input.

PS TN Bob - where are you - my old stomping grounds and all my relatives are from Warren County & Cannon County. Wife is from White County. Would like to move back home someday.

A suspention seat slides up and down on a frame with springs and shocks and they make an unbelievable difference in comfort and length of time you can work.
