Man did this thread take a turn.... Anyhow, I will stick with Mobil 424, Rotella, and OEM filters on the next service. I don't see any evidence to say the TSC stuff isn't any good, but I know the 424 is top quality. Don't mind spending a few extra bucks for piece of mind.

If you'd take the time to read your owners manual (have you ever)... You will read in it that you should warm up the tractor and allow the systems to warm sufficiently so the fluids flow properly (engine oil and hydraulic oil) before placing it under load. SOP with all builders.

Your tractor, your wallet.
Yes I have read the manual... more than once. I can let my tractor run for 10-15 minutes and the engine temp gauge hardly moves off of cold. It does nothing for warming up the HST fluid. I have run the tractor hard moving snow for over an hour before the HST operates normally. This is with the Shell HST oil that the dealer put in, I certainly am not going to put in an oil that is even thicker.

Is weasel pee a brand name?

Thanks for this, I had a nice belly laugh. I don't log in here all that often anymore.

The "is brand x" any good has been beaten to death on this site for many years that I know of.
