TURF TIRE PROBLEM BX2200 TITAN TIRE

I wonder if they use different quality tires on the BX tractors that have a loader installed at the factory than they do on tractors that leave the factory without loaders? A tractor with a loader would need a HD tire to handle the additional weight, where as a tractor without a loader wouldn't need as strong a tire. Just a thought... Will have to check the ply rating on my tires in the morning... wait.. it is morning.... time to go to bed.. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Have you ever heard of a product called "Ospho" to kill rust? Brush the rusty surface to remove loose or scaly rust and apply the ospho. I've used a brush and at times a spray bottle. When it dries the surface is black and the rusty surface is glassy. Good primer/paint over that and the rust is stopped for good. I found it at Ace hardware and also discovered that they had a "house brand" that was a lot cheaper and worked just as well.

That is interesting about the different type tires for factory equipped BX with FEL. My BX2200 did not come from factory with FEL, but was ordered and installed at dealer. The tires on my BX2200 are 26x12 - 12 4 ply. I did notice that there is a 6 ply available, but tire dealer that I got my replacement from only had one 26x12 4 ply in stock and no 6 ply. If he had the 6 ply I would have gotten that. I guess be best thing to do in the future would to keep on look out for a deal on turf tires with 6 ply, plus I am also thinking that I might get me a set of bar tires to us when I am doing a lot of dirt work.
I took bad tire back to dealer and they were going to send it, or should I say a piece of it back to Titan (Carlisle) for the adjustment. Said that I should have check in about two weeks.
Any ideas about bar tires & wheels?

I had pretty much the same situation happen with my Kioti DK45. It also is a Titan tire, 6 ply Ag type tread. My tractor had 56 hours on it when this occured. This does not give me a lot of confidence in Titans product. My tire also delaminated ,that is why it lost air pressure. I waited 6 months to get credited for the tire, and never received an explanation as to why this happened.
