Thumper, I used a $20 cat 1 drawbar from TSC and then bolted 1 1/2" angle for the uprights. It is filled with nine 60# bags of ready mix. The one mistake I made was putting the drawbar directly in the middle of the drum, it should be much closer the tractor side of the drum. As it is, it is too hard to attach because of clearance issues. However, once I had the tires filled I have not had to use it. I have put 21 patio blocks in the loader bucket, each weighing 40#, with no stability problems. So I would be happy to give you the counterweight but shipping would probably be an issue.
