Turf tires to r4's , need some help

There is no way R4s are going to make less of a mess on a yard than R3s...really wonder sometimes.....

The fronts of R4s make less of a mess in turns because they don't grip. The turfs made far more mess in turns. This is with an FEL.

Now, the rears of R4s generally make more of a mess in soft ground than turfs.

Hi all. I just bought a Kubota L2850 and it came with turf tires (I like them around the yard) but, I would like some R4's. The turf tires are: rears 355/80-20 and the fronts are 212/80-15. I don't know how that converts to the sizes I am finding in the R4's. Is it possible to put R4's on the same rims or will I need new rims?

FYI the turf tires have seen better days

The Tractor Data l com lists specs on tractors. Hit the site, punch in your model number and go to the detailed tire definition. You should find both tires listed. I just went the other way on my 2400 and the wheels that came on the tractor were plenty wide enough for the turfs to fit properly.

For what it's worth I changed rears on my 2400:

OEM R4s were 6 ply, stiff sidewall and due to the lugs, not much balloon area for air to compress.....aka harsh ride even at pressures < 10 psig.

The Titan turfs I bought (only turf I could find to fit the 33" circumference required) were 4 ply, still stiff sidewall, and much larger balloon. At pressure mentioned ride was a lot softer and when I added wheel weights made for a nice ride. The lugs on the Titan turfs were much deeper than I expected and I get as much traction as I did with my R4s in general tractor usage.
