Still guessing your best bet for that is to go directly to your state or county DOT.

I didn't think about this before, but maybe ping the local paving contractors... Or civil engineer.

There's a program some DOT's use called AutoTurn. You give the program a proposed road plan, tell it what type of vehicle (truck, bus, how many trailers/axles, length etc) and then it shows you how the vehicle will track through. $$$ program. :D

I suspect a consultant who does roadway design will have something similar if they want their plans to work. can't believe they'd be cheap though.

So.....I grabbed my tape measure and took my SUV to the city cemetery. They have a variety of small roads with narrow paved surfaces to help size things up. My boat and trailer is in winter storage.....but I think I have some good information from the cemetery. It was kinda a nasty day.....so I need to go back when it's not so windy and measure one particular circle that seems close to what I want.

Kinda complex set of diameters depending on the dimensions between the SUV rear axle and the trailer axles. I've got some big white pines to plan my driveway around.....and I have so much building material laying on the ground it's impossible to accurately plan right now at the site. Prior to that I had buildings that needed demo and lots of trees. At this point my plan looks "plausable". :D

The various little cemetary circles really help to gain a feel for size.
