Thanks guys. Like mike69440 I just want to maximize what I have so that I won't be lying when I tell people I have a 30hp tractor. It is just a mental thing. I don't want to go overboard by adding a turbo. My 3016 is pre tier IV so I doubt there is a software solution. I noticed that the pump has 3 tamper proof caps and wanted to know which was the fuel screw. My buddy had an old Kubota that had the fuel turned up on and it only smoked a little under extreme loads.

Just add some Power Service Diesel Klean to your fuel. That alone is worth 7 HP per Mahindra as demoed to my dealer at a Mahindra training class. Messing with your pump can have some very bad unintended consequences that will get very expensive. If the tractor is doing the job you bought it for why do you want to burn more fuel just to say you've got a 30+ HP tractor?
I've got work that my compact tractor really isn't suitable for, but I have to use the tools that I have. Maximizing the performance of what I have can only help. I'm not trying to blow up the tractor. There are tons of old tractors out there that have the fuel turned up without ill effect. I've been slowly clearing my property over the years with my 3016. The property was logged 5 years ago and is now an overgrown mess riddled with big stumps. Even a full size high HP tractor would have its work cut out for it.
I have to ask what was the tractor that had the 7HP boost? There is no way I'm going to get an extra 7HP without doing some major modifications.
