Turtle Rabbit switch TC 35DA

My turtle/rabbit toggle switch and button control on the loader level is not working. Low and High gear lever works fine. Help.

The TC is basically the same as my Case. Mine would sometimes not work and what I found was the toggle switch on the fender would sometimes stick, thus not allowing the buttons on the loader handle to function either. I was looking at TC35 the other day for a friend to buy and it had the same issue.

Did you replace the hi/low switch?

I have not. I did blow around the rocker switch with compressed air and it has not given me any trouble since. Doesn't look like it would be to hard though.

How do those switches work? I just received my new-to-me TC40DA last night. I didn't have much time to play around with them, but I wasn't sure how they worked. I could operate the tractor in both hi and low range, but I couldn't figure out how to get the fender or joystick buttons to do anything. If anyone can point me to a YouTube video, that would be helpful.

The Operator Manual states that after selecting either low or high range, the Turtle button operates at or below normal speed, the Rabbit button operates at or above normal speed. Basically makes it a four range transmission so you have better pedal response. I operate in Low range and toggle between Turtle and Rabbit. Only time it goes into Hi range is on pavement, which is very rare for my TC40DA. I normally run at 2000 RPMs for everything. Makes for good loader response for dirt work and pulling power for the arena drag.

I think I understand what it's supposed to do. I'm just not sure how to make it do it. Right now my turtle light is on. Not sure how to make it turn off or make the rabbit light turn on.

It's a toggle switch. Push it to the outside to switch to rabbit mode, lights should switch to the active side. Pull it towards you to go back to turtle mode. Top pushbutton is rabbit, bottom pushbutton is turtle. Lights on the fender switch will change with the joystick pushbuttons.

Gotcha. Sounds like I'm probably stuck in turtle mode then.
