Got a Massy 35 the safety switch wires have fallen apart. I went to replace them but they have odd pin connectors that connect to the safety switch. Does anyone know where I can buy them or if there is an easy fix?
Helping a friend with this machine, no start. Finally figured out the more complicated than necessary neutral safety switch is the culprit.
Is it acceptable to bypass the switch on a hydrostatic model? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I have a Ford 3610 tractor, and for a long time, the safety override switch had been bypassed. I wanted to reactivate it, so I performed all the necessary checks. The cables and the switch are all in good condition. However, when I install the switch into its socket, there is no response...
Rather than than tax my 70 year old addled brain and figure it out by myself, would anyone be kind enough to tell/show me where the Neutral safety switch location on my Max28 8x 8 is?
A .pdf from service manual would be a great help, plus the part number.
Jiggling the forward/reverser handle no...
I would like to install a bypass seat safety/cutoff switch for my 2023 Kubota L4060 ROPS tractor. I do not want to permanently disable it, just be able to switch it off under certain limited circumstances, but keeping it engaged most all the time. I have attached a photo showing the wiring and...
I replaced the neutral safety switch on my 1987 Ford 4610 (8x4 trans with shifters on the column). Now, the tractor will only start in gear (high/low/reverse) and not neutral. Any ideas what I did wrong? I double checked to make sure it was installed correctly and exactly as the old switch came...
I have two sons who will be using the machine and I know how dangerous tractors can be so I want to install a Clutch Safety switch. I need help figuring how how to wore it in to the system.
I have already mounted a switch system from a YM240 on the unit.
Kinda odd, I think this has been troubling me for a few years and I didn't tie it together until recently. When I crank the DK45SE and immediately start the PTO by engaging the rocker switch. It often doesn't come on at first usually. I leave the rocker switch in the engaged position and drive...
A few years ago, I bought a Yanmar SA424 and just last year I purchased the front mounted snow blower attachment which runs off the front/mid PTO. It worked great for most of the winter, except towards the end of the season, it would intermittently shut-off and I'd have to re-engage it...
Ok , I was just putting the seat up because I wasn’t putting the tractor away tonight as the rain started and somehow the wire got caught and the switch got yanked out of the seat. Nothing really appears terribly damaged but I can’t figure out how that switch was actually afixed inside the seat...
I had I guy working on my 2019 TYM T554 HST cab tractor. He took it apart and left with some parts and never returned. I got it back together and running and was able to buy the missing parts except for the nut that holds the ignition switch in place. In order to buy that I have to buy the whole...
Hello to all,
What would cause the rodents to want to go in btw the wires! I have heard of ants being attracted to the area around the contacts bc of the electrical field. Is this the same w rodents?
At least it was prob fast...did not impede pump as is. Went to increase the pressure some re...
Morning!
I just purchased a 2004 TC35DA and I am not sure about a few things.
There are two switches on the right side of the operator, one a lighted toggle, and second a switch. Not sure what either do.
The lever for the 4WD I am unsure if it should be forward or back for 4WD.
On the dash...
I have a TC30 that i had just been using for some brush cutting. Stopped the tractor, and now it refuses to start. It was acting like a safety switch problem, so I started shorting one switch at a time by disconnecting each switch and replacing it with a jumper wire. After several tests, I...
I have a Toro Groundmaster 580d with a temp switch issue. The switch is part number 93-3526. When the switch is connected the machine will only run for about 2 seconds. When disconnected the machine will run normal. Does anyone know exactly what this switch does? Does it measure temp or...
I need to wiggle pedal several times to get engine to crank. Switch isn't loose and adjustment is OK... that said any tips/tricks to replacement?

Need Help diagnosing a cranking but no start condition on my 2003 1165 MF Compact Tractor.
Please do not tell me how unsafe or dangerous this is ...
I fully understand the safety concerns of removing Neutral Start Switches / Lockouts on a Tractor.
This is for testing only to confirm a...
Hey Gang,
I used my 2300 to move 8 yards of mulch, everything was fine. shut it down for an hour or so, and it wouldn't start. Was just clicking - like when you leave it in gear. But it wasn't in gear. I figured it was one of the other safety switches. I checked the seat switch, that was...
I recently acquired a Stihl MS-170 chainsaw. Switch was originally 'off' and I moved it to choke to start. Started fine. But now I can't get the switch to slide back to 'off'. Just seems to be blocked by something. Is there a trick to getting it to move to 'off'? I've been shutting it off by...
I just acquired a 335 and one odd thing I discovered is that when you hit the reverse pedal, the pto shuts off. Was told this is a safety feature. I have never known this before but I am certainly looking for a way to change this feature as I mow in reverse sometimes. Any advice appreciated.
After mowing couple of hours little over week ago I had a no start from the key switch issue and had to take out a multi-tester & the WSM in order to troubleshoot - here's what I found out:
Since I was able to start the engine with a jumper wire from the starter solenoid, I decided to check the...
Need to replace my switch and I was checking the wires. I have the black wire from the battery (via the starter) attached to the post on back the switch. However, there's also a red wire attached to the same post, sending a constant 12v somewhere. I don't see this red wire attached to the 12v...
Like the title says ... wondering what the common symptoms were, if any. Mine as follows:
Was doing grapple work without any problems, then noticed the hydraulics getting wonky (sticky/jerky movement, not smooth like usual), so I head towards the shed figuring I may need to top off Hydraulic...
I bought a new MX5400 in '22, and I am almost ready to completely disable the seat safety switch. It entirely too sensitive, and and just about any change in position on the seat will shut the tractor down. I'm 170lbs, and its aggravating trying to run/watch any implement behind you without...
I have a 2014 GC1715 that needs a lot of work. It appears that the Range Neutral Switch is missing. Does anybody have a picture of the switch installed on a 1715 for reference? Also very curious in the connector as the original looks like a 2 wire, but the substitution on the AGCO website...
LS Community...I'm running a 2019 XG3135. I'm cheap and broke. But, I'm getting to my roundtuits which includes adding a toolbox, work lights, and upgrading my oem switches. I've read the numerous threads asking about these issues - I've looked at as many tool box and light install videos and...
