I know it may be redundant but have you double checked the wires/connections between the antenna and the TV ?

Also, have you tried a second TV in the problematic location ?

You could have a splitter or combiner going bad, I have 4 tv's in my house and can tell you that the more you split a signal the more loss you will have , especially on longer runs of coax cable, I have found that a powered splitter/combiner is far superior to non powered , as long as you have a good signal coming from the antenna to where you split it , the powered splitter will help you keep it all the way to the tv.

What we have with separate antennas on each of the 3 TVs has worked well until last week with that weird weather just after the Xfinity install. Get 20 channels, which generally work fine. The CBS,ABC,PBS provider recently moved and made reception not completely well, particularly on the upstairs bedroom TV that rarely gets used.

Really not worth spending money on an outdoor antenna and whole new coax distribution system unless the antenna TV antenna signal can be tied into the same coax as I get Xfinity/Comcast internet from. Can it?

Have a pretty good antenna in the attic of the garage, but it is pointed SE towards the NBC broadcaster. Need another one pointed NE to the CBS, ABC, PBS one, maybe, but the TV presently on that antenna with rabbit ears Teed in works fine on all channels, surprisingly.

You can definitely put a signal from a satellite dish and a tv antenna on the same piece of coax , you just take the coax from each one to a combiner which will come out as one, you can do the same thing with 2 tv antennas pointed in different directions to get more stations they can even be on the same antenna pole as long as they are spread at least 3 feet apart, I have this exact setup at my house and it works well.

it seems much better to get broadcast basic from Xfinity/Comcast than mess with multiple antennas. you get the internet from them already!..

It's called a diplexer, not a combiner. You put in a diplexer to combine broadcast TV signal and satellite dish signal over the same coax. When you get to the other end, you have to use another diplexer to split the satellite dish signal and broadcast TV signal again.

Over the air TV is free. Paying for cable to get something that is free seems kinda not better at all, unless you are a *********. ;)

The one I used plainly says signal combiner on it and I split the signal from the 2 antennas just ahead of it with a plain splitter, may not be right but it sure does work good, especially the powered signal combiner.

Reception tonight on the TV here in the basement was perfect. Must have been the weird weather conditions. Maybe the ABC,CBS,PBS broadcaster was having some troubles and didn't tell us.

Not the same thing. He is asking if you can combine the Xfinity/Comcast Internet feed with the Antenna - NO. Do this and you would have neither Internet or Antenna.
