Nice comparison. I have heard of this before but did not know the advantages.

It would be interesting to find out, if mounted on a PT, how much turf damage would occur... I imagine the square shoulder would do the most damage...

Also wonder how much abuse from debris that gets stuck in the 'spokes' it can handle...

Wow they look terrific. Wonder how much.

I was hoping that there were double wides...

They do make turfs.

All the best,

If you go to John Deere's website, they are putting them on their zero turn mowers. So I guess they are good on turf as well.

That's a very good question, especially with the brush hog in front. I know my 48" hog throws copious amounts of debris into the left wheel motor and rim. I can only imagine how much it would through into the spokes of that wheel. Weather it would do any damage or not over time, I do not know.

I also wonder with the softer ride, how that might toss the C.O.G. around on side slopes?

yeah, the side slope thing is interesting to me. For the PT to do 45 degree it is recommended to run 4PSI. Wonder what the relative PSI is of those tires. But given how many flats I get, would be cool if I had the money to buy those.
