Is it possible to order and install two electric diverter valve kits on the 4x20 series? For talking purposes, assume cost is not an issue.

I believe you can install an electronic diverter kit on the standard mid mount SCV to gain two more services. I would like to use these new circuits to control a top and tilt kit using the mid mount joystick (flip one switch to control either FEL or T&T using the joystick).

I believe it is also possible to install an electronic diverter kit on the optional single factory rear SCV to net out three total rear SCVs.

If my math is correct, this ads up to 7 total SCVs.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

BTW, here's why I want 7 SCVs:

1 & 2) FEL
3 & 4) T&T top
5) Rear blade angle
6) Rear blade offset
7) Rear blade gauge wheel

Note that I'll use the tilt on the T&T to make minor to moderate tilt adjustment to the rear blade and I'll use the blades manual tilt adjustment in combination with the T&T tilt for extreme blade tilt adjustments.

Also note that one of the rear SCVs will be optionally used for a third circuit on the FEL for a grapple or angle on a FEL mount snow blade.

Wow... No replies from all the 4x20 series owners out there? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I know it might seem excessive to want 7 hydraulic services, but I've put enough time over the past 30 years having to manually adjust a RB angle, offset, and tilt to know that I don't want to do it for the next 30 years! Not to mention the huge advantage of being able to make those adjustments on the fly.

I also know that manually adjusting the top link and right side draft link on a 3PH to make fine adjustments to either a RB or BB is a RPITA and having a hydraulic T&T makes it a no brainer to adjust, even on the move.

So, does anyone know if it's possible to have two optional John Deere electric diverter kits on the same 4x20 tractor?

I have a 4720 and I only have dual mid SVCs with a FEL.

I am planning on using it for hay raking, so I need a rear SVC. Now, I may want to add a backhoe. What all do I need to add? Where would the controsl go for the rear SCVs anyway?

Thanks,
D.

Your dealer will have a power beyond kit for this very purpose. Of all the hydraulic kits, it is the least expensive. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The power beyond option is for a backhoe, or any other implement with its own hydraulic control valve(s), like a wood splitter.

You need the "3rd SCV" option to control an attachment with a hydraulic cylinder. That option can be added at any time to the tractor (factory or dealer). The new control lever for it is located in front of and below the 3PH control lever.

He said he wanted a backhoe.

Then he asked what he needed to add for the backhoe.

He does need another valve for the items in other post. I was answering the last one.
