Two questions about a L3400 HST

Can this tractor handle a 6' bush hog?

Is this tractor smaller than a New Holland TC40 ? I have been looking at Kubotas and New Hollands and want to make sure I am comparing apples to apples.

According to Kubota, even the L2800 can handle the 6' brush-hog. I know my L2800 does not even break a sweat with the 5 footer when just mowing grass. Unless you are really getting into heavy brush, I think the L3400 will do just fine with the 6 footer. The New Holland does advertise an additional 4hp at the crank and 5hp at the PTO.

My L3400DT(GEAR) handles my 6' SQ172 with no problem(on flat land).
