Good to know!
I have previously inquired there before......by phone.
I will not bother to inquire there again .... about anything!
What they said... 032.JPG
After sending the wrong toothbar, I got the WR Long toothbar with the bar on the underside of the bucket. I figured that this model would do better at back dragging.

That was about 8 years ago....

If I was serious about buying, I probably would have went inside first and got some information about it.

Seeing someone roam around the lot, it would be hard to tell the difference from a customer or a vandal, but he should have shown some civility.

I'd agree with that....He should have asked permission to take some photos etc. That would have been the proper thing to do.

I've never done business with them.

I'm certainly not going to change my opinion of them because of a post from a new member that is 1 post into his existence here. Especially a person that allowed a situation to deteriorate to point of being asked to leave the lot. Last I knew we were in a country where an owner can ask anyone to leave their lot and shouldn't expect to get the F.Y. response.....

But I've been wrong before. We'll see by the posters future contributions here.

FWIW...it's been about 5 years since I purchased something from the company mentioned...but I have to say it was the absolute worst business transaction experience I have ever been involved with and it was mostly because of their poor attitude...and not caring about deceiving their customers...of which I will never be again...

They advertise pretty reasonable prices on the Internet.

I had a different experience...

Terribly rude owner. I stopped by to look at all the equipment they had on the lot for my new Kioty 3510 tractor. They had many pieces to my interest. After looking over the entire yard, I stopped to take a picture of their used plotmaster. After shouting "hey" at me twice owner came and told me that I can not just take pictures... He told me that "normal people" come inside first. I tried to explain that I need it to do my research on that particular piece, but he did not want to hear. I offered to delete pictures and told him that he potentially lost allots of business at which he replied "you are not my customer" After that I told him "F.Y" and he asked me to leave so I did. Will be sending him pictures of all the implements I buy from other retailers.

From google review:
"Response from the owner in the last week
Yes, the owner did stop this visitor from taking pictures w/o permission. Yes, the owner did ensure this visitor deleted the photos. Yes, the owner did lecture the visitor that the considerate thing to do - what most people do, is ask for permission, which they usually get. Yes, the visitor was vulgar, to which, the owner did not reply with any offense, but to told the visitor to leave, even with the visitor being combative & vulgar. Yes, the visitor tried to justify taking pictures w/o permission, and the owner did try to reason with the visitor about someone going to his place of business & taking photos w/o permission - but no reasoning with this guy! The owner told the visitor he is welcome to view all he wants, but will have to be considerate - still, no reasoning with this guy! Yes, the visitor told the owner he lost "alot" of business - Yes, the owner told the visitor he's not his customer & hasn't lost anything. The owner hope he does well in life, and gets what he wants, but the owner is not interested in his photos."

Besides telling him the last words I did not use any vulgar language, he also claims I was combative... Hard to be combative when you are walking away from rude owner...

I have been a long time lurker here but have been awaiting the chance to say how Steve does business. I broke a tractor a few years ago. They were the closest dealer to have access to the parts. I called Andrew and got a verbal quote on costs and time to repair. My first mistake. After the repairs taking 2 months instead of 3 weeks, I made plans to go pick up the tractor. I had left it on my trailer so it would be easy to drop and pick up. When I went to pick up, I was abruptly met by steve who said the repair was 1500 more than expected. He said if I didn't like it, I could go home and we could deal with it at a later time, but the tractor wasn't leaving. And...it wasn't fixed yet. The parts were there. I needed the tractor, so I maxed out my cc and tried to help Andrew get it done. The tractor always leaked after that because of a crappy repair and I sold it after about a year simply because they were the only ones to have parts within 4 hours and I got sick thinking of giving them another dime. I told the new owner my experiences before he bought the tractor. He thought I was just a little nuts. 2 months after buying it, he also needed repairs and found Steve to be the same as I did. There are many farm suppliers out there that are MUCH BETTER than these people. Buyer beware.

Last week, I had a deal lined up with them for a Allied Farm King snowblower. It was priced @ $3499 on eBay. I called to inquire about shipping to the west coast and was given a quote of $475. Still a better price than i could get out here. The very next morning I received an email telling me the $475 shipping was if I paid by check, if I wanted to use a credit card shipping would be $999. Never called them back.
A few years ago I bought a Wallenstien BX42 chipper from them, and had to call Wallenstien, and get corporate involved before Iowa Farm Equipment would give me the extra set of blades in the promotion.
A real headache dealing with them.
