Two Used BXs - 23 & 24 - Good Prices?

Since you've owned all three BX TLBs, what have you liked/disliked about them? Give us your take on them.

The only TLB I have is a BX23.
The other 2 BX tractors I own are a used 2003 BX1500 and a new BX1500.
The BX1500 tractors aren't TLBs as they don't have a loader or a BH.

I like everything about all 3 tractors except they could have a better holding parking brake.
A foot wheel brake that locks the wheels tight would be nice.
Also they need to work like a car does when shifted into neutral or park so the tractor won't roll away on a slope when you shift it into neutral.

I know exactly what you mean about the foot brake. My buddy has the BX1500 and my son has an L3130. The 30 has the locking foot pedal and it is great.

I have an 06 bx 24 with 137 hrs on it and bro tec thumb and skid plates and a ripper tooth to replace the hoe bucket all in real good shape $14000,looking to get a L3400 bx alittle too small for me.

Before you decide its too far, try Carver - they advertise here. They had BY FAR the best price on a B26, about $3-4K less than the dealers here in SOCAL.

Re shipping heres what I did. Post the notional shipment on uship.com and you'll get some pretty reasonable bids. Works like ebay, feedback and all so you can get a good sense for the bidder. Theres a couple guys there that specialize in delivering tractors.

Carver wanted nearly 4K to ship to me using their own shipper. Most of the uship bids came in roughly half that, $2-2.5K. I used the Carver price to "wear down" my local dealer who finally matched it.
