Yes there is a lot of torque in that shaft and grinder. Enough to pick the left rear of that tractor off the ground!!

That's about the most inefficient log splitter I have ever seen. I am sure I can out split it by hand.

Might be okay if you had huge rounds and wanted to break them into more managable chunks but after that it would have to be faster by hand or with a more conventional splitter.
