Tym 273 pto wont stay engaged

Diagram is small and hard to read but it looks like both PTO and Cruise all have one wire in common, a ground wire. Hope that helps.

Where is the brake switch located?

My pto switch went bad also. Probably at 250 hours. My cruise no longer works but I never used it anyway.

Hey bud soda, did you ever get it fixed? It so how? Also I saw in previous posts about cracked frame on 273 that you welded some metal to make subframe. Any pictures of it?

Yeah I had to replace the pto switch with a new one. Same problem you had. The only pictures of the subframe I made were on the thread that I posted about the cracked frame.
