tym 273hst or daedong/kioti ck22 hst

I'm a long time watcher, first time poster.

We are about to purchase our first compact tractor and have narrowed it down to the tym273hst and the daedong/kioti CK22hst.
We have 7 acres and the machine would mainly be used for slashing grass with a pto slasher and general bucket work with the loader.
Daedong is well established in oz with lots of dealers, where as tym is new to the market down here, but slowly growing.
I am tending towards the tym as it has a bigger engine and has the 5 year warranty.
Each machine is similar price.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I have the Montana T2734(same tractor) Here is a list of problems I have.

Tractor has 200 hr, only thing that warranty repaired was muffler.

Engine has alot of vibration.
These are problems I need to repair.

> Fuel pump bracket broken( take off and weld)

> Tie rod boots(front) are torn/missing(order boots from dealer)

> Leaking sight plug(in rear of tractor)Probably needs new o-ring

> Hydro leaks at pump & radiator(tighten nuts maybe?)

> Broken hydro control valve for loader(bottom of tractor where cable goes
> into valve)
>
> Hood bracket broken in front( JB Weld maybe)
>
> Key switch (key will not turn switch sometimes, needs new switch from
> dealer)
> Loose front Axle pivot(metal holding front axle bent?)

I came down to the same two machines myself three yrs ago. The Tym is far more maneuverable far better ergonomics wise. But they have some issues. I'd say it depends solely on how good a dealer you have for either.
The best, closest dealer would be the deal breaker or maker for me. TYM has some advantages but the small stuff is irritating so a solid dealer and close by would make me lean that way.

I am not sure if TYM has upgraded the known issues in the newer models. Ask your dealer for references on the newer model.

do it again ....not sure really. I'd have to speak to a Kioti owner. Service is the deal maker.

I agree with Tom59 on this. Dealer should probably be your decision maker in this instance. The Kioti would have been my first choice but the dealer was too far away. FWIW- I am have been pretty happy with my TYM as my second choice.

I have had my 273 for about 2 years have had some of the fore mentioned issues but nothing that couldn't be fixed. I drove over 400 miles to Kentucky to buy my tractor. No dealer very close to me but my dealer has adressed all my issues and sent me parts and have gotten filters from NAPA so everything is okay so far. I had a Kubota L2350 and sold it. A little light in the front end.
My 273 has a loader and a backhoe. Have read a lot of threads about pressure and operation of the backhoe . I but my tractor in neutral when I operate it and maybe it's me but I seem to see a difference. Anybody got a comment.
