Hi guys, i have a TYM 554 hydrostatic that has 60 hours and it started having a weird issue, before i send it back to the dealer that is 2 hours away i wanted to see if anyone encountered this issue before and maybe there is an easy fix. So i was mowing the other day and i noticed a knock in the loader lever depending on the speed i am going, if i am going faster the knock is faster, if slower then slower. I don't really hear anything when i am going forward but i can hear a knock when going backwards that seems like it coming from the transmission area. I checked the hydro oil and it was low and it was time for my 50 h service and i did that with new oil and filters and topped up to the level and it is still doing that. Can it be air in the system or something like that? I will try to make a video but i am not sure it will show anything. Hope you guys know something. Thanks

I cant think of a reason why you would be hearing noises coming from the hydraulic system only when the tractor is moving and is related to the speed of the machine.
The thing that does come to mind is to check all of the wheel lug nuts/bolts. They can make a clicking or thumping sound as they move on the hubs. All new tractors need to have the wheels retorqued upon delivery and again every 50 hours until they stop coming loose.

I will check all the bolts but how is it that I feel the knocks in the loader lever? From the outside its more like a clanking sound I guess, like a very big ratchet noise, I'll try and make a video and see if it's understandable

Thank you for your help, i tracked the issue to a hydraulic hose that was rubbing the back tire, that is why i was feeling the hit in the lever, and when i was going backwards the hose fitting was hitting metal thats why it made noise.

Glad you found it. That is definitely to close to the tire.
