I have a 233 with a mitsibishi diesel. It won't start cold w/o ether. the bussbar on the glowplugs shows battery volts. Does this mean the plugs are bad? thanks in advance.

How long are you letting them heat up? Many take as long as 30 seconds. If you have voltage of 7+ volts for that long, and you can't feel them heating up, then they are bad.

most of the tractor companies are giving a strong recomendation against using either in modern engines. I would guess Mitsu is the same.
