TYM T330 w/ lt300 loader
Tractor and loader - $15,500. Is this reasonable for Missouri? 5 year warranty sounds nice. Looks like a tough tractor. I know I should posted this on the tym forum, but not much action there. Is there a reason for that? I guess the Montana dealer and Mahindra dealers I talked to do not really want to sell me a tractor. They will not return my calls.

That is a good price for that tractor anywhere! The tractor as you well know comes standard with remotes. The power is Kubota. 5 year warranty. The loader is very nice and has SSL hitch standard. I don't see how you can go wrong.

I think that the 330 is almost identical to the 2810 Mahindra used to sell. The major difference would be the Mahindra was 28hp Daedong engine while the 330 uses a 33 hp Kubota engine. You won't find a tractor of that size and specs for that amount from any other brand. They only thing I would worry about would be TYM's longterm commitment to an already saturated US market. All things considered, I would buy it for that price.

MDM you are right that TYM made this tractor for Mahindra. an almost exact comparison is the 3510 Mahindra model today. Except TYM uses a Kubota engine and Mahindra uses a Daedong

I think I am going to consider this. I am waiting to see what kind of trade I might get for my present tractor. This would be a ford 1100 2w, w/ rm 59 finish mower and 4' rotory cutter. He acted like he could go about $2000 for that. I would jump on that, as my 1100 needs some work. I probably will get a 7' first choice grooming mower. I wanted a 72" but he said he could get me into this about the same price. I thought the tractor might be underpowered for this but the salesman says it will run it. Also going to get a 5' rough rotory mower, and gator teeth for the bucket. Rear tires will also be filled. I am waiting on the quote for everthing. Delivery is $100.00. A couple of hours from where I live.

That seems like a real deal.
My Mahindra 2810HST was more $ 5 years ago, subtract about $1000 for the HST and your looking at almost no increase in $ for more hp and loader capacity w/ remotes over a 5 year old cost.

HST or shuttle shift? This is quoted with shuttle shift which I think I can live with. As long as I can shift on the fly. The question I need to bring up is the loader. Is it a fe200 or 300. Quite of difference in capacity between the two. Just a thought. Is 33 hp enough to run a 84" finish mower?

What model is the loader Brian? There really can only be 2 model loaders it can be and both are really good. Its probably a LT300 I say trust your dealer on the Finish Mower but if your not comfotable get the 72" finish mower

I looked at the tym330 and it does look like a very nice tractor. I went to Diamond R equipment up in Freeburg, MO and he shot me a great deal on a R3644 Montana. Really nice tractor. I'm not sure how close you are to Freeburg but you may want to take a drive. Jim Rehagen is a very nice guy to work with. He gave me a very fair trade for my Kioti 3054, and I bought the Montana with FEL for $15,000 with fluid in tires and tooth bar, delivered. It is a sweet machine, and very reasonable. Give Jim a call he works with you and is a good guy. He actually caries both montana and tym. Phone: (877) 898-6959

Wow! That sounds cheap. Do you suppose $15,500 is to much to pay in Missouri? I thought it sound pretty good.

Ed, Is that a new 330 for 12,999.?

Brian

That looks pretty good to me. the tym is a good looking machine. Jim is out of the 3644 Montana's with the 1500 rebate so this would be a good alternative. The long warranter is also very nice. The shuttle is very smooth on the tym just like the montana. I'm not sure what kind of shape your finish mower and bushog are in, but getting 1900 for the tractor, hog and finish mower might be a little light. If the finish mower is good shape it should be worth $750, the hog should be worth $250, and the tractor? It doesn't take much of a tractor to be worth $2000-$2500.

Could you get by with keeping the finish mower instead of buying the 7' grooming mower? Just thinking of a way you could get in thwe whole deal for a little less money.

Sounds like Jim is giving you good pricing like he normally does. I don't know if you need it , but he has a nice grapple system that he can put on the bucket for a good price if you are interested. I had him put one together for me.

I'm very happy with my 330hst! I was a little nervous about the off brand name at first but soon realized that it is a hard working tractor. Vermont has some real tough ground for testing. NO REGRET HERE! I think you need to bite the bullet at that price. If I can answer any questions just contact me.
