hi
i have a 2006 t700 and started to do the fifty hour service on the machine. what i thought was a hex head for the oil drain turned out to be a square head that nobody has a tool for i called the closest dealer and i was told to use a 3/8" rachet extention,it was to small and spun a quarter turn on me i did not want to strip the drain plug. so being it has a real john deere motor i drove to the closest jd dealer and was told to use a 1/2" extention instead i said it was to big and dont they have a specific tool for this , they told me trust us it works. so i bought a 1/2" drive extention and had to grind it down to slightly larger than the3/8s!!!!! 1/2" does not work... does anyone know where the proper tool can be purchased and what it is called? thank you
