Type of metal in the rear housing have a 585 case international

Hello I had a little incident in which I broke the left lower link arm off the three-point of my tractor. It broke part of the rear housing that extends down where the pin goes through the link arm

Can anyone tell me what type of metal if it is cast-iron or cast steel and how difficult it is to weld back?

Spark test with a grinder? Likely Cast steel.
