Well guys, I have now had my "baby" TZ for just over a week, thought I would give ya'll a mini report.
First off, make no bones about it, I LOVE this tractor!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It has the 54"MMM on it, and it mows my property and airstrip just fine.
We have put app 7.5 hours on it(almost all mowing, but a little time towing a cart around also)and at this point, I think the only place I goofed is, should have got the cruise control option. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Holding down that hydro pedal on the long runs up and down the runway gets a little old.
Other than that, no complaints! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Will eventually get either a blade or FEL for it, also may get a couple other grass/garden implements.
So, anyone else thinking about getting a TZ18 or TZ24....they are great!!
Anyone else with one of these little jewels,.... any tips or comments???

I thought ALL hydros came with cruise control as standard equipment. Even the little garden tractors have some sort of cruise control.

Do you think it can be added after the fact?

Hey Mark,
well, I am going to find out about adding it....then when I take it to the dealer for a check-up at 50hrs, if it's feasable, will have it installed.
I must have been brain dead to get it WITHOUT cruise control!
Just a case of not thinking...DOH !! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Cheaper than your co-pay at the hospital for the knee surgery that you'll need from holding down the hydro petal for extended periods of time. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have a TZ24DA with the 54 in. mmm and just about ten hours on it now. I think its a great little tractor and besides having a pto out of adjustment to start with its been perfect. Someone said they had hot start problems but mine starts instantly. I think I may have paid too much for it but thats the story of my life. I'm already looking for things to add.

How 'ya doing Enidguy?
Now have a little over ten hours on my TZ18DA too, it's been great!
I plan to eventually get a some kind of rotary mower to brush cut with,(MMM does great for finish cutting)and probably will get a plug aerator too.
Also, would like to get a front snow blade, my driveway is about 400ft long....be my luck this will be a REAL snow winter!
