The original battery is a wet cell one with filler caps. It lasted three years. Now I'm looking to replace it. Do I have to replace it with the same type or can I install a sealed one? If this is the case can anyone tell me which one I would replace it with? Thanks

I have a TC35, and the spewing, spitting battery lasted about 18 months. I replaced it with a cheap (~$40) "maintenance free" sealed car battery, and it's been wonderful. When I blow the dust off the battery posts, they still look shiny and new. Not a hint of acid or corrosion, and no grease needed to protect the posts. Best $40 of NH's money I ever spent. :D

What brand did you buy and how did you cross reference it? Thanks for the reply.

Went to O'Reilly and they matched it for me. I bought their cheapest house brand. I find the cheap-O's last ~3 years, the real expensive batteries last only about a year longer. YMMV.
