TZ24DA Hydraulic Leak

I have a hydraulic leak, when the HST is under pressure, coming from where the drive assembly attaches to transmission case.

I hope I am using the correct terminology; I don't have a lot of experience when it comes to repairing tractors. I have attached a few pictures to provide a visual. Sorry for the poor quality, I couldn't get the camera to focus correctly in that small of an area.

Has anyone seen this before? If so, is this a fix a beginner can do, or is this a problem more appropriate for the dealer?

This fix is to pull the drive shaft, pry the seal out and press the seal back in. Service manual states to use petroleum jelly on the seal prior to install.
