Price Check TZ24DA price?

Got a quote from a dealer last night. Any thoughts?

TZ24DA & 10LA FEL: $ 12,200
NH 54" MMM: $ 1650

Try Corriher or Tarheel tractor? You have to add shipping costs, which are likely to be in the $500 to $900 range, but Corriher is listing a TZ24DA with 60" MMM for $10,650, the loader would be extra, shipping would be extra.

I buy locally MOST of the time, but I make sure my dealers are honest by having competitive prices for other sources. I prefer to buy locally, and I am willing to pay a bit for a relationship that gets me great service, but I am not willing to get gouged. Last year my dealer quoted me $1850 for a 60" Farm King snowthrower (delivered to my driveway after testing it). I paid him $1400 for it after showing him some competitive pricing over the internet. My NH is in the shop right now getting a 914A MMM installed, I called around and then called my dealer, I asked for the price, and he had the LOWEST quote without me even bothering to throw out any other numbers, but I think he knew the pencil needed to be sharp up front. When I got my 12LA loader added, he was not the cheapest, but he was competitive and I got it from him because having a relationship is worth it to me and he does provide me with the service and support I need when I need it.

Quote from Corriher was $10,900 for TZ24DA with 60" MMM and $2950 for FEL for a total of $13,850 - I got a quote of $13,850 locally with 54" MMM, so add about 200 to that for 60" deck. But I also was told to expect $1300 in shipping charges. That still puts the local dealer quite a bit cheaper.

I've got another local (45 minutes away) dealer who sells NH, Case and Kubota putting a price together for me - should hear back from him tomorrow. Apparently, the Case is the same machine as the NH, except for red paint and different grille/headlights. I'm interested to see his price on those 3 machines.

Case is sold under the FARMALL brand, yes, it is basically a clone of the NH line with some cosmetic differences. I believe on the larger tractors the NH SuperSteer option is exclusive to NH, so it might be possible that there are some minor features not available on the Farmall Sub-CUT, but my guess is the real difference will be the color of the paint.

I got a quote today for the TZ24DA. 12,400 includes the FEL and 4' rotary mower and canopy. I also learned today there are 2 ways to get the TZ24DA. 1 has 2 postions for the 2wd/4wd (1 position for each that you change manually). The other option cost $200 more, which has 3 positions. You can put it in 2wd, put it in 4wd, or stick it in the center and it automatically switches between 2 and 4wd depending on the need felt through a sensor). My quote was for the auto sensor.
