TZ24DA

I am posting this for my neighbor who just took delivery of a TZ24DA with loader and 60" mmm. He wants to know from others with experience on the TZ24DA if there are any problems/gotcha's he should be on the look out for. Apparently this was the first unit his dealer sold, so not much history to be able to give a lot of feedback at this time.

I recently took delivery of a TZ24DA similar to your neighbors. It is a nice piece of equipment!! I only have about 13 hours on it, but there are a few things I have noticed. It seems hard to restart when hot. I mentioned it briefly to the dealer, but have not persued it any farther. The other quirk I have noticed is that the hoses going from the tractor to the Loader seem to get caught/pinched when the loader is moved up and down. I used some wire ties to hold them to the bracket near the fittings.

Make sure that your neighbor has rear weights and/or gets the rear tires filled before trying to use the loader.

It would be nice if the tractor came with hydraulic line plugs so dirt could not get in the coupling when the loader is off..

The hydraulic lines should have plugs when taken off. I would say your dealers setup department forgot to put them on.

I agree that there should be plugs. They said there were not any. They then pulled up the parts listing on the computer and it showed none. They then told me that I could buy the ones from a different loader model that they would fit.

Are you saying there SHOULD be plugs or do you KNOW that there should be plugs? If you know that there should be plugs then I will make some calls.

Well my quick reading got me in trouble again I thought we where talking about a TC24. Your dealer is right there are no plugs for the 10LA yet. I put asked New Holland about this for you. I have not gotten a response yet.
