Tz25da 2008 can't get fuel to come out of gas tank!

You most likely have crud caught in the fuel tank outlet. Take a small wire and run it into the outlet tube and see if you can dislodge it. Alternately, you can remove the fuel cap, get an air compressor and blow back through the fuel outlet tube to try and dislodge whatever is caught there. You've located the problem so now you just need to remove the blockage. If when you remove the tank blockage you still have a problem, there may be crud in the head of the fuel filter so you'll have to clear that also.

I have already used an air compressor and that didn't work and the fuel filter isn't clogged. Someone pointed out a #2 on a specs diagram maybe the problem.

The tz series 18 thru 25 have 2 filters. One on the left side of the fuel tank, behind the left rear tire and one on the right side of the engine. There is an electric fuel pump, which may be your problem, underneath the steering wheel behind the plastic covers. I would first check the fuses that would power this pump. Then it's getting to the pump to see if it's working. I have read, you have to remove the steering wheel to remove those covers. Perhaps another member could elaborate on this. The pump should vibrate when energized.

Harry in ky helped me figure it out it's the fuel reserve tank which is very small and in front of the fuel tank which I didn't see but he sent me the schematics for this tractor which helped me find it. Thanks everyone !!!

What I was referring to was the casting at the top of the fuel filter that contain passages to transfer the fuel into the filter. If crud is found in the tank fuel outlet, there is a chance that crud can be trapped there. But first you have to get fuel out of the tank.

Many fuel tanks and right in the fuel line has a filter. Did you back blow the fuel line and get bubbles in the Tank?
Today's diesel is low sulfate so algae and bacteria easily grow in the tank. It may have clogged these small filters. I'm sorry I am not being specific to your machine. Back blow to the tank and see if you get bubbles and perhaps see if you stir up 'crap' in the tank.
Even if you vent was clogged, you would get fuel running out of the fuel line for a while until it built up a vacuum. With fuel cap off, it will not create a vacuum.

This tractor is not getting fuel into the fuel bowl so pulled off the gas line to the bowl and no fuel then I removed the fuel line at the tap at the tank nothing. I drained the gas tank and found a white flat piece of plastic that broke off of something cleaned tank filled tank back up and still nothing coming out of the tap. I did a blow alittle air into the tap alittle fuel did come out but it stopped and back to no fuel coming out !!! I am trying to find out how this tank is vented and if there is some kind of screen that could be clogged. Not sure

I have a Kubota L3400. Mine did exactly what yours is, no fuel coming out of tank. I put a zip tie into the output port and fuel started flowing. After several times I took my tank off and apparently I had got a bad batch of diesel, there were these black gel blobs in the tank. I started using an additive about every other tank and haven’t had a problem since

Hi Crooked creek,
I am not a mechanic but have you tried priming it? I know when I let my tractor run out of fuel one time( never again) I had to go through a series of steps to prime it. I was lucky because I had the step by step instructions to follow. If this might be what is happening you could look for a manual on the steps or check YouTube for a video.

Hi Crooked Creek. So sorry to hear about your husband. I just don't get some people and their lack of empathy. Those of you who are guilty of this - Shame on you! There go any of us but for the grace of God.

Glad to hear you figured out your problem. Try using a good diesel additive such as Power Clean or the like. It's a good preventive.
