Please excuse my ignorance but I'm picking up my first tractor this weekend and I can not find anywhere that has trailers for rent that meet the weight requirements. I'm trailering a Kubota b7500 w/302 fel approx weight 2000 lbs. Would there be any problem using a uhaul car trailer I wouldn't think there would be but I wanted to get some experienced opinions. Thanks for the help this site is great with so many knowledgable folks.
After purchase, I used a U-Haul car-hauler to tow my CUT tractor home (30-miles) which weighs twice what yours does and likely has a wider wheel base and it did not fit well at all. The whole way I was worrying about loosing control of the load, part of it was I was using an SUV that was rated for the weight but had coil springs in back which added to the mushy feeling.
U Haul will not rent the trailer to you if they know what you will be using it for, if wrecked it is likely you will be responsible for the cost of the trailer as well. I would look very hard for another solution before using a U Haul car hauler.
Good Luck.
