U5030 vs XU 5055 HELP!

Made up my mind. Going with the U5030, should have it by the weekend. Also looking at the bush hog 296 or the bush hog HD 26, not sure which one to go with.

Have fun with it. I have had mine for two years now I have seen my dealer two times. Once each year for filters.

Thinking about the model BH 26. It has the heavy duty tail wheel design. Looking at prices right now

Congrats on the U5030. I test drove a 5030 and a 5020 when I was shopping. If they could put an HST transmission in those things, I would own one. Great tractor, especially for the price.

By the way, are you sure a 6' cutter will cover the tire tracks? My Kioti is smaller than your 5030 and a 6' cutter just covers the tire width.

The LS site states 66.9" w/ag tires so 6' would do just but with R4's probably not. With either type of tires I think I would look at 7', although that would add cost and I understand a budget believe me on that!

You're right about the cost difference. There seems to be a huge jump in price from a 6' to a 7' cutter.

The jump after 7' scared me.
