thats awesome. I suspect due to the layers of air in the compressed blocks is actually the absorber of kinetic energy of earthquakes and winds is the biggeest reason of its sucess. congrats to harv for a such a simple invention overcoming many issues.

Harvey, I don't know which of the three is greater. You got your Ubuntu-Blox house past the earthquake test and got exposure on two TV channels: CBS and NBC. I'd say you didn't just hit a home run. It was grand slam.:thumbsup:

The test videos are making a difference in Haiti. One of the Haitians that a supporter has deemed necessary to be on site with our classes and build just went from interested to a radicalized convert. He had lived through the quake two years ago. The house in the video not falling down impressed him beyond measure.
We still have the naysayers that make their lives by naysaying anything they weren't part of creating or building. But the Haitians who will be building and living in these houses are on board. They get it.
The news stories are all over the country and Canada. We're getting hits from all around the country from people saying they saw it on their local news.
