I thought the earthquake test was important for the engineers. I was wrong, again, of course, engineers are so buried in questions they wouldn't know an answer if it bit them on the butt.
Where the earthquake video has made the most difference has been here on the ground in Haiti with Haitians. Their reactions are visceral. It affects them deeply. And when see that wall still standing after all that violence they are moved.
It is a thing of beauty here on the ground watching the women work. I have to believe that part of that is knowing that an Ubuntu-blox house won't kill their kids in an earthquake.
BTW, I forgot a very important box when I flew out from DFW. My wife went home and shipped it from our local post office to here. We've been told that I just lost that package because between the US Postal Service and Haiti Customs six weeks minimum.
We were just notified by a Custom's courier that the package is ready for pick up, on schedule.
