UDT or SUDT or Chevron Syn..??

Oh well, I have one five gallon bucket of the Chevron AW THF left because I wasn't sure how much it would take to do the change and it was special order product. I guess I'll mix it 50/50 with SUDT when the time comes to change the THF again. 55 gallons of this stuff would last a long time. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, I contacted the Chevron marketer in Austin... again it turns out since I now remember the name, thus must have contacted them before when I was looking for synthetic hyd oil and determined that it was impractical but don't recall exact details.

Current statement is that they do not stock AW THF and they are trying to figure out if they could get it to me in quantities less than barrell lots... and what it would cost. Will call back... 1 hr ago and counting. Net, they are not prepared to sell any in near time frame and I surely would have to make 65 mile round trip to Austin to obtain.

In 2001 I bought several 5 gallon cans of Chevron all weather synthetic THF from Prime Lube in Cartaret, NJ.
At the time they wanted to get rid of it and said they were not getting any new stock in.

Call back from Austin Chevron dealer reports that his contact who is familar with Chevron warehouses in Houston and San Antonio says that neither do thay have Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF and wanted to know where to go to discover more about the product. Maybe at the Chevron web site?? like here: Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF
