Dan,
I'm curious. Do you have the manual for the tiller?

You are missing your 'guage wheels' . They hook to your vertical pipes in the back. You must have these to control the tillers' depth

Chris, I do not have the manual for my tiller. I was told it was unavialable from several dealers. I have the 1400 tiller. I will keep in touch Brett. J Copper, I was told that with the UFO system the wheels are not needed. The deepth is ajusted by the rear flap and that is hooked to a cable that runs the auto deepth control. I am trying to figure out what the electric knobs on my fender are for. I have been playing with them and sometimes it makes the tiller tilt and sometimes it doesnt. So It must have to be in a certin position for the knobs to work I guess. Dan

Dan, the key is to take careful notes on what swiches and buttons are where. And as Greg told me, put tractor in N, PTO in N also, lock break and go back and pull up on the flap and see what settings cause it to raise as if dirt had been tilled up. bw

I have an FX24D and it also has the fender controls, but I have never needed or been willling to experiment. Live in relatively flat land and don't need anything more than the manual tilt provided by the Joy Stick.
