I think i watched ice piolots. I watch all the fishing shows too. Dedliest catch, lobster men (cancelled), swords life on the line, anther on the east coast i cant remember, wicked tuna, and big shrimpin (cancelled), ragun caguns (cancelled).

We both, wife and i got into Siberian Cut that was advertised like crazy and was on discovery and was cancelled 2-3 shows in and dissappeared.

IT was about an american that went to siberia Russia to make it big logging. And had a half american and russian crew it was neat seeing the old russian stuff then it went off that was this summer i beleive it aired.

Amaish mafia was a joke, there was a stream of amish shows a fe years ago, breaking amish, living amish..

anyboby watch that show Madhouse that was on like 4 years ago about small time stock car racing in NC? made it one season. I watched it and am not a race fan.

The bike shows we both loved at first all the choppers show. I watched they build shows and car shows till there got to be so many this was like 7 years ago or more, they waned and now there back with the fast n loud and the spin off of them and all the other shows.

I did like the TLC show overhaulin, which ended a few years ago and has tried a few comebacks but i dont think it worked.

We like the duggers shows since they came on, they appear to be a good christian family and were just amazed and watch every thing on them.

Ok i wil stop i could go on but yall are probably like this guy spends way to much time onthe tv. Well the wife and i watch tv togeather. we dont go out or watch movies. and i still work on all my stuff although i dont have as much free time to do it with my new son but i still but wood and do other things. I just enjoy tv, others like other stuff i like tv


And like others said you can do it with a DVR no way i could do it without it. i watch 2 pawn star episodes in the time it would take live for 1. I can watch a 1 hour show in 40-45 mins if i dont pause it.

I watch the Discovery Gold shows but I take it with a grain of salt. I know they are propping up the operations for the crews but I enjoying watching the process and how much gold they can pull out of the ground. I heard that the reason Dakota Fred quit the show was that Discovery spent $12 Million on the Jungle Gold fiasco and he was upset that he didn't get his fair share of the cut. I really like Parker Schnabel and especially his grandpa John, who seems like a genuine character. I only hope that they are not supplementing what they find in the sluice boxes and that part is real but there is no way to know.

I did find it strange that Parker came home last season and still had all 1000 ounces of gold that he found!!! I would of thought that he would of needed to sell it for pay for bills?? And last season they had a hard time supposedly paying a few things till things changed? I mean what other business do you work a whole quarter and not cash any checks you made?

But to throw some numbers around the Hauffmans want to find 1000 ounces. We will say they get $1100 an ounce, i dont care if its $1000 or $1159 for the sake of what i am saying. So thats $1.1 million for the season. I cant remember what he agreed to as a percentage but it was higher i thought, we will call it 15% but i was thinking it was like 17% with a gaurenteed amount to the owner. so right after that 15% fee he is left with $935000. And this assumes he meets the 1000 ounce goal, he could miss it and go higher or lower. Higher obviously would be better. I forget what that wash plant cost but wasnt it $300000? i know it will last more than a year but......Ok back on track. They admitted in the last episode something like $10000 of fuel a day, that seems awfully high to me but i can see it as the price up there use to be $6 but i think it would have come down as of today but the show was this summer. Thats 1600ish gallons of fuel a day. But those rock trucks and giant excavotors and gen sets do use a lot. Lets go with that $10,000/day number ( i think they said $12k/day though). They work 7 days a week for 12 weeks that comes out to be $840,000 for the season and remember after lease fee they have left $935,000 so now were down to $105,000 and we have not paid for any parts, and equiptment lease fees or the labor or food or any other expense like plane tickets etc???? How are they making any money. Even from what i heard that the show stars make $40k on up a year, there is no money in it if your looseing money at the rates they say.

The show talks about what a sucess they are???

In the first season, the Hoffmans spent $1000/day running everything. I doubt very much they burn 10 or 12x that with the new setup. Now Parker added something like $8000/month or was it a week ??? to his cost by buying the D10. But that is of course only when the D10 is running, likely not all the time.

Yes, completely scripted, staged utter B.S. Mick Dodge is just some homeless alcoholic they found on the streets, gave him a few bucks to run around in the woods acting like a fool. The most ludicrous episode of any reality show ever was about him "going into town" to buy a cheeseburger and chocolate milkshake.

Actually, there is one reality show I liked. That was before cody left. And that was dual survival.
