I can't understand that much weight on the front. Why ? You can buy a old Tractor on CL. 10X the size for what they have in the Weights and that Paint job!! old fords etc. running in the hundreds all day long.

Wish my Yanmar had all those weights. I could do so much more with my machine, like move round bales, not worry about flipping using a PHD on the rear, brush mowing going up an incline, etc.

Watch Craigslist for some weights! They don't have to be Yanmar.

That photo looks like (70 lbs x 5) + 30 = 380 lbs.

My first YM186D (no loader) was about the size of that blue Yanmar. It needed heavy front ballast to keep the front down so I could steer when it was pulling hard, towing the watering trailer uphill.

I put on (70 x 4) + a 30 lb chunk of RR rail (anvil) = 310 lbs. It could have used more weight.

I have never really considered using a Fel. on the YM2000. Always had the 5103 Fel. near by and never thought the Tractor was really designed for one. IMO. Used a rear scoop on it for yrs... Rear implements garden use has always been real good though. Over 15yrs. and still use it today! ASIS all ORG. and still is. Rebuilt the Starter. 012 Hrs on the Tach. when I bought it and it's in the 900 Tach. Hrs.. I'm going to roll the Tach on it. Don't hear that on here
My wooded property is to much back in there for a little Yanmar so this is what I use. CL. I 'm down to cosmetics. Super cheap!! Old as I am. Had to get it Split but everything works now. The loader setup on it is really cool. I'll save that for the Vintage Ford forum. Pushing my comment luck now. It has Loaded rear tires. I use to use my old International BH. that weight a Ton. And it would lift the front tires off the ground easy. Lead weighted a bumper to help that. It's my power steering Asst. now LOl...

Your YM155D is a racing tractor. I see the rear mags and the K&N racing air filter.

I noticed the Rear wheels also. I thought of this before and you hear it all to often of finding replacements 4WD. Yanmar. I zoomed in and it does look as though they may have drilled a new Bolt pattern. Sure looks that way?

You’ve got a good eye. We aren’t sure where those rear tires and wheels came from. We’ve since replaced them with original wheels and new tires, You wouldn’t have believed how the old wheels were attached - bolts and nuts with enormous flat washers placed on inside and outside around the circumference of the hub, then tightened into place. Ugh.

Just wow. Even the VN recon shops never thought to do that!

With the correct front to rear ratio on your new tires and a new seat it will be (almost) as good as new.
