I was having some issues with my mid 90s landini crawler and found uppon inspection the transmission / hydraulic oil to be an unconventional color, either prior owner used mayonnaise or there is H2O in the case, I'm guessing #2 is more likely.

I'm not sure how it made its way in, but I'm wondering what the best way to flush it out is and if anyone has any ideas on where it may be comming from, the radiator does not seem to be loosing anything.

Some of the TBN members use this mixture as a flush.

1 quart atf ( type f or dex/merc 3 ) to 1g diesel, to 1 pint 90-91% rubbing alcohol. I'll put that into a sump as a rinse. if it needs more fluid for some pickup.. I'll add in some cheap utf or more diesel rinse mix.
