Uh-oh my \"new\" decals are falling off!

I received replacement decals with my 186D when I purchased it about 2.5 years ago. I have just finished painting it and put them on, and almost immediately they are peeling off...

They had been stored for I don't know how long

I cleaned the area with alcohol, which I let dry before applying

What's up? Is there a good way to reattach them, or do I get to buy new ones?

They looked really nice for almost a day....

You can reattach them with 3M spray General Trim Adhesive. You'll have to mask off where the decals go so you won't get glue on the paint.

Great, thanks. TBN is sure a great help I thought of regular 3M spry, but didn't think it would hold up, the trim spay would be just the ticket

If that doesn't work, the heavy duty weatherstrip adhesive or a contact cement will.... just make sure the decal touches where it will stay for the rest of its like.... WA and CC are not forgiving, and bond very good.
