What a timely thread! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I went out this morning to mow (after tilling a bunch the day before and couldn't get the mower hoses attached to the PTO no matter how hard I tried. I was pressing enough (on one side) to allow fluid out but still no luck. Probably let out three tablespoons or so and was getting very frustrated. Came in the house and did a search for the old thread for hints but couldn't find it! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Then I saw this thread at the top that referenced the old thread. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Read it and it reminded me that it could be the attachment side locked up not the tractor side. Got a bolt and small hammer gave one tap to the nipple on the attachment side letting out maybe three or four drops (vs tablespoons) and they slid on like butter! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I had wanted to time how long in took me to mow a certain section of the yard so I had looked at the clock right before I tried connecting the hoses. I looked again when I finally did connect the hoses. 42 minutes! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif If it wouldn't have been for this forum I'm sure it would of been much longer! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
