Two ideas for a good business.

Nice work, I guess manufactures are not interested in selling these as accessories.

Two ideas for a good business.

1. Under Armor for Tractors and Off road toys. (Both plastic and metal.)

2. Motorcycle Saddle bag Brackets. (All types of Bikes)

I've made my own for both.
In each instance, even a cheap-skate like myself would have paid a fair price for well designed items.
As I have an L39 for the rough stuff, I'm too lazy to bother with the Max.

I'm an Engineer and also do CAD Design, so if anyone has a good business plan, existing shop, might be worth a PM.

I told ya! Good stuff, esp. for free!

yes indeed! thanks for the tip!

left (driver's?) side pod.

there's a channel brace that runs out to the edge on this side preventing me from reaching all the way back and putting the second bracket behind the plastic. got some ideas though, just ran out of time (wife came outside cutting time short)

back cover. did a better job on this side, may still need a brace though

this one only took an hour and 40 to bend up weld up and attach up.

Sheet steel for the belly is preferred, but i am on a budget and will be using the bed liner for my MAX22. primarily i want to stop branches and sticks from getting into the underbelly.
will use a large sheet of cardboard to make a template with the location of grease zerks marked.
later when i have saved enough $$ i will put a steel belly pan on my mahindra 5510. it is used to haul logs with the Farmi JL501 PTO winch.

So far, it's all good. had a couple instances where the side pods put in work, no visible damage nor damage to any of the hydraulics on the tractor. Also getting close to being done with my heavy brush clearing, so I suspect going forward I won't have any more issues with stuff bouncing up and wiping out my filters as in the past. So I've got that going for me now.

Would highly recommend finding the bedliner for all but the heaviest of duty applications (for which this series of tractor probably isn't well suited anyway), at least with the type of stuff I've been dealing with one could make the whole thing out of a single piece if given enough thought and some careful measurements. maybe couple it with some backing brackets on the part that goes up to the edge of the operator's platform depending on the 'grain' of the material.

The primary use of the Max22 is tree branch cleanup. branches get into the Hydrostatic linkage.

Resurrecting this old thread. Anyone here have a diagram with measurements of there under belly pan for the max26xl. Also how much do y'all have invested into this project. Thanks in advance.

less than 24 inches wide (21-22) for the frame part, and 48 inches is a bit too long iirc to go from the back of the frame to the front cross post for the FEL (best thing I can come up with to call that). I think I ended up cutting some portion of it with a sawzall, like the length went down to around 46 inches or so. I had to buy a sheet of mild steel, 4x8, but I paid an extra ~5 to get it cut into quarters. I used one quarter, and have 3 propped up in the shed waiting for me to do something with em. used old bedliner plastic for the 'side pods', they were fairly easy to build.

Noticed you're up the road a little ways in barn central, I've still got the materials laying around if you're interested, it wasn't expensive.

Linuxman, just the guy I was hoping would respond. I'd like to try to use one sheet and bend the sides up to cover the areas you used the plastic for. Do you think that would work?
It's hard to see in the pictures what did you bolt it to on the tractor?
How do you like the tractor did you buy it at coblantz ?
