Under body flushing system

In the army - where we had to clean trucks and tanks all the time - we had a simple drive over ramp and a hose. From my jeeps experience - no, I dont wash my jeep often - you need to see what you are doing to clean the undercariage properly.

Related question: I am wanting to finish out my backfilling around the house so need to fit whatever pipe will be leaving the foundation wall undergrade for this underbody flushing application. Does anyone know the PSI handling ability of, say, 1" or 3/4" galvanized water pipe? I know that PVC only goes up to maybe 480psi. I need something that will support the pressure associated with a commercial car wash's underbody flushing application. I'm thinking that galvanized pipe could be just the ticket, but am not sure.
